Here are our picks for the week:
On Tuesday, head to the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator to attend a Building Energy Management Fellowship Info Session. 💫
Meet other climate enthusiasts at the Climate Collective Happy Hour 🍺 on Thursday!
Also on Thursday, join an interactive session where you can test your hand at Designing Climate Solutions 🌱 with Climate Circuit.
On Monday, join a networking reception followed by a 🔌 Conversations with the Chair- CA Energy Commission, David Hochschild.
As always, scroll down for the full list of upcoming events.

🐬 Marine Mammal Care Center
Massive shoutout to the important work done these past few weeks by the The Marine Mammal Care Center - based in San Pedro - to respond to a devastating crisis: an unprecedented harmful algal bloom (producing a neurotoxin) that spread off the coast of SoCal. It resulted in hundreds of sea lions and dolphins found in distress, stranded or dead on beaches from Santa Barbara to San Diego. The Marine Mammal Care Center, in collaborations with organizations like the Aquarium of the Pacific, Heal the Bay, and Surfrider Foundation and community members provided necessary protected areas for these animals and is treating as many animals as possible. You can get involved! Join the Pinniped Patrol, consider donating or providing supplies, and spread the word!
🏡 USGBC-LA
USGBC-LA is THE organization representing green building and sustainability professionals in and around the Greater Los Angeles Region. They gather a diverse community of developers, builders, owners, facility managers, architects, engineers, planners, technologists, green financiers, students, green building experts, and advocates! With dozens of annual events and a palette of different programs, USGBC-LA inspires leaders throughout the communities to take action on climate change, public health, and environmental justice. On Wednesday July 26th, join the LA Green Jobs - Virtual Career Fair and speak directly with hiring managers in the sustainability industry for the built environment!
