LA Fires: Resources & Building Resilience
LA Climate Resilience: Collective Healing & Conversation: on March 1st, Healing Lahaina and Stranded Astronaut Productions are creating a space for anyone experiencing grief, anxiety, or concern in relation to the recent Los Angeles fires and the climate crisis. This event is open to those who have been directly impacted by the wildfires through evacuation or loss of your home, anyone who is distressed by witnessing the recent events, and individuals who identify as climate advocates or want to step into that role. Registration here.
TreePeople launched the Wildfire Resilience Fund. Environmental restoration will be key to transform disturbed wilderness areas into healthy, biodiverse native ecosystems, and to prevent future fire from being widespread and severe. Learn more about how organizations like TreePeople support: invasive species management, localized seed collection, seed propagation, planting and long-term site management, as well as fire resilience and watershed health while bringing the community together.
